Mandil Avocats

Mandil Avocats is a firm specialising in legal support for digital players: start-ups, SMEs and the legal departments of large groups. Their expertise covers highly technical areas such as fintech, new technologies, personal data protection and artificial intelligence.

Context and Challenges

In a legal environment in constant evolution, driven in particular by technological innovation and new regulations (GDPR, AI Act and others), Mandil Avocats needed to assert its positioning as an expert in digital law clearly.

The firm's legacy site no longer sufficiently reflected:

• The technical depth and modernity of their expertise
• Their ability to support complex and innovative projects
• Their hybrid positioning between legal rigour and an understanding of tech issues

The challenge was therefore to design a digital platform able to:

1. Showcase specialised expertise while remaining accessible
2. Inspire confidence in demanding clients (start-ups and large groups alike)
3. Stand out from traditional law firms, often perceived as too institutional

Building this platform took 8 weeks: 3 weeks were needed for branding and UX/UI design. Development of the site took 5 weeks of work.

Our Approach

1. Research and Strategy

We analysed the sector of law firms specialising in digital law, in France and internationally. That benchmark showed a clear opportunity: few players manage to reconcile specialised legal expertise with clarity of offer in such technical areas.

We therefore defined a strategic positioning built on three axes:

• Make complex legal subjects understandable
• Assert a high level of expertise on emerging subjects
• Adopt the visual and UX codes of the tech sector

2. Branding and Visual Identity

The firm's identity rests on classic codes, but we moved its visual expression towards a more contemporary world, built around:

• A restrained palette enriched with modern touches to evoke innovation
• An elegant, structured typeface reflecting legal rigour
• Subtle visual elements inspired by the technology world (grids, rhythms, contrasts)

This new identity modernises the firm while respecting its heritage and its values.

3. UX/UI Mockups

The mockups designed in Figma were conceived to simplify access to information and structure complex content. We worked on:

• A clear architecture of the practice areas (fintech, data, AI and more)
• Explanatory service pages, organised around client issues
• A strong information hierarchy to guide the reading
• A reorganised news section
• Fluid navigation allowing quick understanding of the areas of intervention

4. Web Development and CMS

The site was developed entirely in Webflow, with:

• Light animation integrated to enliven the experience without undermining the restraint the sector expects
• Performance optimised on desktop and mobile
• An easily scalable CMS structure, allowing new content (articles) to be added

We also carried out:

• A full audit of the old site with Screaming Frog
• Migration of the existing content
• 301 redirects to preserve SEO
• Technical optimisation (tags, performance, responsive)

Results

The redesign gives Mandil Avocats a digital platform aligned with its ambitions:

• Showcase their areas of expertise (fintech, data, AI)
• Strengthen their credibility with a demanding, innovative clientele
• Offer a clear, structured user experience suited to what clients expect
• Stand out from traditional firms through a more modern and accessible approach

Since going live, the firm records an average of 9 contact requests per month, with an average load time of 1.3 seconds. The firm now has a modern, elegant and high-performing digital tool, able to support its growth and its communications for the years ahead.
